First Steps

As you can see, this blog is about firsts. We are crazy about firsts at our house, first words, first teeth. First everything....Emerson won't let us take a picture of her teeth and you probably don't want to see them either, but I think the first steps are pretty important. I guess technically, these aren't really "steps" because she is assisted with the toy that she can't get enough of. The only problem now is how to turn it around which ironically, she is learning quite quickly. She really is entertaining!

First Haircut

I wasn't quite ready for Emerson's first haircut. Especially since I can't wait for it to grow long enough that I can put pretty little bows in her hair!!! But despite my hesitation I let Dad cut it. It was getting long and it kept getting in her eyes, so we cut about a half inch off the top. Emerson...not impressed with Dad's cutting skills...she wanted out of that chair and right this minute. And she wanted to eat her hair! Yuck!
